EXPAT BLOOM CAMPS INC.

CODE OF CONDUCT

Effective Date: March 6, 2026

Agreement to these policies is captured via signed Airtable form submission at the time of onboarding.

This Code of Conduct applies to all individuals associated with Expat Bloom Camps Inc. ("EBC"), including participants (campers), featured influencers, camp counselors, community architects, and contractors. All parties agree to adhere to these standards before, during, and after their involvement with EBC.

This Code of Conduct is enforceable in conjunction with the EBC Liability Waiver. Failure to comply may result in immediate removal, termination of partnership or contract, legal action, and permanent exclusion from all EBC programs.

1. Respect for Others

  • All individuals must treat fellow participants, staff, contractors, local residents, and partners with respect and consideration.

  • EBC prohibits any form of discrimination based on race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, disability, or any other protected characteristic.

  • Any form of harassment, bullying, intimidation, or discrimination is strictly prohibited. Violators will be removed immediately.

2. Legal Compliance

  • All individuals must adhere to local laws and regulations and demonstrate respect for cultural customs and traditions.

  • The possession, use, or distribution of illegal substances is strictly prohibited. Violators will be immediately removed and may face legal consequences.

3. Professional Boundaries

Participants are prohibited from engaging in romantic or intimate relationships with EBC staff, counselors, or contractors during the program and for a minimum of 6 months following camp completion.

4. Substance Use

  • Alcohol consumption must be moderate. Excessive intoxication or disruptive behavior due to alcohol use will result in removal.

  • All individuals are prohibited from sharing media that depicts intoxication, illegal substance use, or any behavior that could negatively impact EBC's reputation.

5. Safety and Well-Being

  • All individuals must follow safety instructions provided by EBC staff, including emergency procedures and local hazard warnings.

  • Each individual is responsible for making safe and informed decisions for their own well-being and that of others.

6. Environmental and Social Responsibility

  • All individuals are expected to minimize waste, conserve resources, and respect the natural environment.

  • All facilities, accommodations, and public spaces must be treated with care. Vandalism or damage will result in disciplinary action and financial liability.

7. Confidentiality and Privacy

  • All individuals must maintain the privacy and confidentiality of fellow participants, staff, and contractors. Unauthorized sharing of personal information is strictly prohibited.

  • Consent must be obtained before photographing or recording other participants or team members.

8. Travel and Insurance Requirements

All participants and contractors must carry valid travel and health insurance covering medical emergencies, accidents, and evacuations. EBC assumes no liability for medical expenses incurred.

9. Force Majeure

In cases of unforeseeable events beyond EBC's control (e.g., natural disasters, government restrictions), refunds will not be issued to participants. Participants will receive full EBC credit valid for 2 calendar years. Contractor compensation terms in Force Majeure events are governed by the applicable contractor agreement.

10. Off-Limits Activities

The following activities are prohibited at all EBC camps:

  • Excessive alcohol consumption or use of controlled substances.

  • Sexually explicit or suggestive conduct.

  • Extreme risk-taking without proper insurance and signed waivers.

  • Culturally disrespectful, mocking, or exclusionary behavior.

  • Targeting or harassing any individual based on identity.

11. Influencer Camp — Participant Conduct

Applies to: Campers enrolled in an influencer-hosted camp

  • Participants must respect the boundaries of the featured influencer at all times.

  • No real-time location sharing of the featured influencer. Do not share, post, or disclose the influencer's accommodations, phone number, personal schedule, or off-program whereabouts.

  • No stalking, following, or attempting to locate the influencer outside of scheduled activities.

  • Interactions with the featured influencer outside of scheduled EBC activities are personal in nature and outside EBC's scope. EBC assumes no liability for such interactions. Public content connecting personal interactions to EBC that damages EBC's reputation may result in legal action.

  • Violations of influencer boundary expectations will result in immediate removal from camp with no refund.

12. Featured Influencer Conduct

Applies to: Featured influencers in EBC influencer camps

  • The featured influencer is a participant in the EBC program, not an EBC employee or agent. EBC staff retain final authority on all operational and safety decisions.

  • The featured influencer must defer to EBC staff and the assigned counselor on all operational, safety, and logistical matters during camp.

  • Intimate interactions between the featured influencer and any camp participant must remain entirely private, outside of EBC activities, and must never be publicly associated with the EBC brand. Public disclosure of such interactions constitutes a material breach and may result in immediate partnership termination, recovery of trip costs, and forfeiture of all unpaid compensation.

  • The featured influencer may not share participant personal information (name, contact details, accommodations, travel details) with any third party.

  • The featured influencer may not promote competing immersive group travel, scavenger hunt, or relocation programs within 90 days of their EBC camp dates.

13. Contractor Conduct

Applies to: Camp counselors and community architects

  • Contractors must maintain professional conduct at all times, both during camp and in any public-facing capacity where they are associated with EBC.

  • Contractors may not share EBC's proprietary operational methods, compensation structures, screening criteria, or internal systems with any third party.

  • Contractors may not engage in romantic or intimate relationships with camp participants during the program or for a minimum of 6 months following camp completion.

  • Contractor conduct that damages EBC's reputation, violates participant trust, or creates safety risks will result in immediate termination of contract and may result in legal action.

14. Consequences of Violations

  • Violations may result in warnings, suspension from specific activities, or immediate removal from the program or termination of contract.

  • Participants removed for violations forfeit all fees paid with no refund.

  • Contractors terminated for violations forfeit all unpaid compensation.

  • All parties may be held financially liable for damages or disruptions caused by their actions.

  • Serious breaches or violations of local laws will result in legal action and may involve local authorities.

15. Conflict Resolution

All parties are expected to handle conflicts with professionalism and respect. Any disputes should be reported to EBC staff or leadership. Aggressive or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.

16. Intellectual Property

All materials, branding, and content created or distributed by EBC are the sole intellectual property of EBC. Unauthorized use, sharing, or reproduction is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action.
