Expat Bloom Camps (EBC) - Terms of Service

1. Introduction

Welcome to Expat Bloom Camps ("EBC," "we," "our," or "us"). By accessing and using our services, website, and programs, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service ("ToS"). If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Eligibility & Participant Requirements

  • You must be 18 years or older to participate in EBC programs.

  • You must have a valid passport and any required visas for travel.

  • You are responsible for ensuring that you meet all health, insurance, and vaccination requirements before attending a camp.

  • Travel Insurance Requirement: All participants must obtain their own travel insurance covering medical emergencies, trip cancellations, and personal liability.

  • By enrolling in an EBC program, you confirm that you are physically and mentally fit to participate.

3. Services Provided

EBC provides immersive travel and relocation experiences that include structured gamified activities, community-building opportunities, and guidance on settling in new locations. Our programs do not include legal or immigration services, and participants are responsible for handling their own visa, residency, and financial obligations.

4. Payments, Refunds, & Cancellations

Payment Terms:

Camp registration ranges from $1,800–$3,000 depending on destination.

You can:

  • Pay in full via Stripe — Simple, secure, one-time payment processed at checkout.

  • Finance with Affirm — Pay as low as $67/month for up to 36 months, based on credit approval. Monthly payments begin after checkout per Affirm's terms.

Once payment is initiated, your registration is confirmed and you'll receive access to your Camper Portal.

Refunds & Cancellations

We don't offer cash refunds. Instead, we offer something better — full flexibility.

  • Full Credit: If your plans change for any reason, your full paid balance converts to EBC credit.

  • 2-Year Validity: Credit is valid for two years from your original registration date.

  • Transferable: You can transfer your credit to someone else. Gift it, share it, pass it on.

Force Majeure: In the event of unforeseeable circumstances (natural disasters, government restrictions, etc.), cash refunds will not be issued. Full credit will be honored for future use.

For Affirm Purchases: If you cancel, your EBC credit will reflect the total amount paid to date. Affirm will update your loan balance within 3–10 business days.

5. Participant Conduct & Code of Ethics

By participating in EBC programs, you agree to:

  • Respect local cultures, laws, and customs at all times.

  • Adhere to EBC’s Code of Conduct, which prohibits harassment, discrimination, and any behavior that disrupts the experience for others.

  • Follow all program rules and instructions provided by EBC facilitators.

  • Maintain personal responsibility for your belongings, safety, and actions.

EBC reserves the right to remove any participant who violates these guidelines without refund.

6. Liability & Disclaimers

  • Assumption of Risk: Participants acknowledge that travel and relocation involve inherent risks, including but not limited to injury, illness, theft, and unforeseen circumstances.

  • Limitation of Liability: EBC is not liable for personal injuries, losses, travel disruptions, or other damages incurred during participation.

  • Third-Party Services: EBC collaborates with external vendors for accommodations, activities, and transportation. We are not responsible for their actions, policies, or service quality.

7. Privacy Policy Acknowledgment

EBC collects and processes personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using our services, you consent to our data collection and usage practices.

8. Changes to Terms

EBC reserves the right to modify these ToS at any time. Any updates will be posted on our website, and continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

9. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of Oregon, USA.

  • Any disputes will first be resolved through informal negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be settled by binding arbitration in Portland, OR, USA, except where prohibited by law.
