INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL LIABILITY WAIVER, RELEASE OF LIABILITY, ASSUMPTION OF RISK, AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT

Effective Date: March 6, 2026

Agreement to these policies is captured via signed Airtable form submission at the time of onboarding.

This agreement applies to all individuals participating in or contracted by Expat Bloom Camps Inc. ("EBC"), including participants (campers), featured influencers, camp counselors, community architects, and any other contractors or partners.

I, the undersigned, understand and acknowledge that there are inherent dangers and risks associated with participating in EBC programs, which include international travel, participation in various activities, and exposure to different environments. These risks include, but are not limited to, illness, accidents, violence, property damage, or death, as well as risks related to differing laws, regulations, and standards in other countries.

Acknowledgment of Risk

I acknowledge that I have reviewed the relevant U.S. State Department Travel Warnings, Travel Alerts, and Centers for Disease Control (CDC) Travel Health Notices pertinent to the country or region where I will be traveling. I understand that these warnings may change at any time, and I accept all risks associated with my decision to participate in or work with EBC. I affirm that I have chosen to do so knowingly and voluntarily.

Assumption of Risk and Release of Liability

In consideration of being permitted to participate in or work with EBC, I agree to accept, assume, and take full responsibility for any and all risks associated with my participation, including travel, local transportation, accommodation, consumption of food, weather conditions, language barriers, contagious diseases, terrorism, negligent first aid operations or procedures, and any other risks, whether known or unknown at this time.

I understand that EBC and its affiliates, including its owners, employees, agents, volunteers, and representatives ("Released Parties"), will make reasonable efforts to ensure safety during the program. However, I acknowledge that there are unavoidable risks inherent in international travel, and I voluntarily assume full responsibility for these risks.

I further understand that EBC is not responsible for my well-being with respect to any travel destinations or activities I choose to undertake outside of the program's scheduled activities.

I knowingly and voluntarily release, discharge, indemnify, and hold harmless EBC and the Released Parties from any and all liability, claims, damages, or actions (including reasonable attorney's fees and costs) arising from or related to my injury, illness, death, property damage, or any other claims whatsoever arising from my participation in or work with EBC.

Program Changes and Health Preparations

EBC reserves the right to make changes to the program, including the itinerary, travel arrangements, accommodations, or activities, at any time and for any reason, with or without notice. EBC and the Released Parties shall not be responsible for any expenses or losses incurred as a result of these changes.

I affirm that I have no known physical, mental, or health-related reasons or problems that would preclude or restrict my participation. If I have disclosed any such conditions to EBC, I release the Released Parties from any and all claims arising out of my failure to fully disclose these conditions.

I agree that it is my responsibility to receive any necessary inoculations and to take all precautions to safeguard my health. I acknowledge that I am solely responsible for arranging health care coverage or medical costs that may arise during my involvement with EBC.

Authority and Compliance

I authorize EBC to make decisions regarding my health and safety that it deems warranted under the circumstances. I agree to pay all expenses related to such actions and release the Released Parties from any liability for such decisions.

I agree to comply with all applicable rules, regulations, and policies set forth by EBC. EBC reserves the right to dismiss me from the program at any time if my actions or behavior are determined, at the sole discretion of EBC, to constitute a danger to myself or others, or to be detrimental to the program. Dismissal for conduct violations results in forfeiture of all fees paid or compensation owed, with no refund.

Influencer Camp Participants — Additional Acknowledgments

Applies to: Campers enrolled in an influencer-hosted camp

  • I understand that the featured influencer is a participant in the EBC program, not an EBC employee or agent. EBC is not liable for the influencer's conduct outside of scheduled activities.

  • I understand that the featured influencer may create and publish content on their own channels that includes images or video from camp. EBC does not control content published by the influencer on their personal platforms.

  • I understand that any personal interactions I have with the featured influencer outside of scheduled EBC activities are outside EBC's scope. EBC assumes no liability for such interactions.

Contractors — Additional Acknowledgments

Applies to: Camp counselors, community architects, and featured influencers

  • I understand that I am engaged as an independent contractor and not an employee of EBC. EBC is not responsible for my personal travel arrangements, visa status, or insurance coverage beyond what is explicitly stated in my contractor agreement.

  • I acknowledge that EBC is not liable for any income loss, travel disruption, or personal expenses incurred outside of the scope of my contractor agreement.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Applies to: Participants / campers

  • 30 or more days before camp start date: 50% refund of the total amount paid.

  • Less than 30 days before camp start date: Non-refundable. All logistics and accommodations are finalized at this stage.

  • Credit Transfer: The full amount paid may be applied toward a future EBC camp within 2 calendar years of the original camp date.

  • Force Majeure: No cash refund. Full credit honored for a future camp within 2 calendar years.

  • Affirm Purchases: Refunds coordinated with Affirm. Loan balance updated within 3-10 business days of EBC confirmation.

Days referenced above are based on the start date of camp. Some exceptions may apply at EBC's sole discretion.

Binding Effect

I hereby release, indemnify, hold harmless, and covenant not to sue EBC and the Released Parties from all claims, suits, expenses, attorney fees, and demands of any nature, including those arising from negligence, caused by, deriving from, or associated with my participation in or work with EBC and related activities.

I make these covenants, releases, and waivers knowingly and voluntarily, and I understand that this agreement is binding on my heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns.
